[ALERT] THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT text message
I just got a text in Pittsburgh: “THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please call 724-922-1039.”
The sender was 724-496-6087.
Please just don’t fall for it — it’s fraud plain and simple.
Here is one of the warning I found quickly:
I got a few of these messages too. Another number I got it from was 724-396-8620.
Same message, different numbers and I am in Philly area.
I got the same message by text. the number was 423-665-1106, and ask to call this number. But the number they called from was +14236455447. I am in Tennessee… Thank for the info. I got the messages once before, and text back and ask them WHAT CARD?
Got a text from (229) 352-2049 today with the same message telling me to call (706) 844-1634
….lol don’t fall for this. SCAM all the way around. Scam Scam Scam…
Got a text from (432) 386-2533 tonight at 9:25pm with the same message telling me to call (209) 244-7417. Im in Northern California. Scam!!
Moments ago. Same exact text as original poster (including CAPs). Phone number was 619-810-7985.
